Katie to debut her trio band

Over the last few weeks, I have been practising with my new trio band (Katie's Bitchin Kitchen) consisting of Monique Kenny on guitar and Nathaniel Visser (my hubby) on percussion.

Although it has been a blast, it is rather unfortunate that we have to disband Rogue Element and say goodbye to our guitarists, Tom and Chris for the time being. It has been a wonderful journey making beautiful music together, however we do believe it is for the best and we wish them both the very best in their musical and personal lives.

With that said, we have our first gig as a trio on tomorrow night at Musicland in Fawkner featuring other artists such as Simon Rhodes and the Groove Dealers and Mer Morte. Even Monique will get a chance to do her own solo slot. Entry fee is $10 and the show starts at 8pm. Hope to see you there.
