Katie's Cabaret show is coming soon

Another exciting thing coming up is my upcoming cabaret debut. Here's a brief overview:

"Katie is obsessed with the 80s. She grew up belting out power ballads about complicated relationships, and soon discovered she started to live them. Join her as she shares her story, and tells you how to navigate the battlefield of love through songs from her favourite 80s icons, from Tina Turner to Kate Bush."

After workshopping it as part of the Cabaret Showcases and performed a 25 minute sample at Chapel off Chapel in February last year, I put it on the shelf for nearly 9 months then I revisited it later on in the year and I've been collaborating with my accompanist, Nicholas Grey (composer of "The Adulteress" which opened at the Melbourne Fringe last year) since November and now we will be performing it at the Butterfly Club on Saturday 29th April 7pm.
